1) Many insurance companies recognize medical nutrition therapy as preventative services and therefore, provide the services at a $0 copay level. Please check with your insurance company for your individual coverage.

Who is Dina Worley, RD, CDN, CDE?
I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the State University of New York, College at Buffalo. My schooling provided me with the strict educational and experiential standards set forth by the Commission on Dietetics Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic. As a Registered Dietitian I am well studied in the science of nutrition with expertise in weight management, diabetes education, cardiovascular health, and pediatric nutrition. My goal is to help you understand the science of nutrition in a practical way. This simplified scientific based approach will not only help with weight loss/gain, but also with issues regarding blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and overall better wellness.
As a Certified Diabetes Educator I have broad knowledge of and experience in diabetes management, prediabetes, and diabetes prevention. After many years of counseling patients with diabetes, I qualified to sit for the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators exam, where I earned my credentials as a Certified Diabetes Educator. My goal is to provide you with a better understanding of prediabetes and diabetes and to give you the tools for diabetes self-management. With the education I provide together we will create an individualized meal plan that will help you lower blood sugars and decrease the risks of diabetes complications.
